The haptic-based fire extinguisher mimics the effect of a physical extinguisher that releases the extinguishing agent while the handle of the fire extinguisher gets squeezed. To mimic the experience, this device generates vibrotactile (using Haptuator) for airflow and kinesthetic feedback (using pneumatic artificial muscles) in a portable wireless setup. Moreover, using NRF24L01 with Arduino and CO2 (25 grams) cartridge air supply enables the system operation noise-free and remotely controlled. The fire extinguisher simulator is integrated into the VR environment with object motion tracking.
